We're glad you found us!

Northeast Tea House opened in 2020 as an oasis of calm in the middle of Minneapolis. Our goal is to connect you with the relaxing, enlivening, and community-building benefits of traditional East Asian tea culture.

At Northeast Tea House, we offer informal tea ceremonies (gongfu style brewing), teaware, classes, and our famous house-milled matcha.

When we opened, we were one of only two matcha mills in the entire country! Freshly-milled matcha remains incredibly hard to find in the US, and we love being able to offer it - especially since we're just blocks away from the old flour mills that originally earned Minneapolis its nickname, "Mill City."
