Black Waterfall Chawan

This matcha bowl is shiny and made to look like a dripping oil painting, or the tendrils of a weeping willow. This one's incredibly captivating and pictures can't do justice to the complexity of the paint trails. 

Having a nice matcha bowl is critical to preparing matcha well - the flat bottom and high sides enable vigorous whisking without fear of splashing or damaging the whisk. Beyond that, as it warms up, the bowl becomes a very comforting vessel from which to drink!
