Japanese Black teas are often made from Zairai tea bushes - tea bushes grown from seed, native to Japan - which, as you may know, we adore!
They tend to have a surprisingly bold character that reminds us of black teas from more southern climates, alongside rich, juicy fruit notes like plum and dark cherry.
